Iran launched a research satellite into space

Tehran: Iran has successfully launched the domestically developed research satellite Chamran 1 into orbit.

An Iranian-made rocket launched the 60 kg Chamran 1 satellite into space.

Sending satellites into space aims to test hardware and software systems at altitude.

According to Iranian media, signals have started to be received from satellites sent into space. Satellite Chamran 1 is currently at a distance of 550 km from Earth.

Iran sent 3 satellites into space in January this year, America has declared Iran's satellite launching as a violation of the United Nations Security Council resolution.

The US and Western countries fear that Iran is improving Basaltic missile technology through the satellite program.

Nasir Kanani, the spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed his happiness on the successful launch of the Chamran 1 research satellite. He said that the countries imposing illogical and unreasonable restrictions have again received a clear answer for their frivolous actions.

The spokesman said that Iran is a logical, powerful, and constructive country, and it is better for the countries imposing sanctions to rationalize their behavior and statements.
